Compact Disc (CD) + Digital Album

Found four copies of this while unpacking after the move. This is the original first edition of Autumn Soil Feedback, issued on a 50 copy run out of my bedroom in 2008. Packaged in a recycled cardboard jacket with red ink stamping on the cover and a white text decal by David Tagg on the back, and red ink stamping on the white CD-R. A neat artifact from the early days of the label, and the download that accompanies purchase of this item includes the massive Coppice Halifax remix drafted for the reissue, as a bonus.

**NOTE: The items listed in the back catalog sale have all been found while unpacking. Some of them have been packed away for years in storage, and may have small imperfections. These are being sold as is, as the artifacts they are, to raise money for implementing the new studio. No refunds will be given.

about

Originally material conceived for an abandoned split release with another artist, Autumn Soil Feedback is a unique and texturally rich experimental album, putting tonal drones and musical elements into the background and bringing crunchy, synthetic and organic foliage to the fore. Released in two prior editions of 50 copies each, both of them long since extinct, with the earliest pressing now five years old. As with the Brother reissue, I've decided to return to the source material not only for remastering and reissuing, but also for recontextualizing. This expanded edition of A.S.F. includes a deep half-hour Coppice Halifax "excavation" of the original sound, using the four-track session tapes in conjunction with the Botany Bay studio assembly, mining source material for new richness alongside drum machines and pools of FX. The result is a monolithic mass of Autumnal organics that is equal parts techno, drone and compost. The remastering of the original five tracks was also done comprehensively with analog systems, to bring even more of the texture and warmth out of the original recordings. If you close your eyes, you can almost smell the burning leaves and cinnamon.
